Wear suitable respirator (MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent) where exposure limits are exceeded.

EFFECTS OF OVER EXPOSURE:
  • INHALATION: Vapor or mist can cause irritation of the nose, throat and lungs.
  • EYE EXPOSURE: Possibly slightly irritating to eyes with direct contact.
  • SKIN EXPOSURE: Possible skin irritant with repeated or prolonged contact.
EMERGENCY & FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
  • INHALATION: Move subject to fresh air.
  • EYE & SKIN CONTACT: Flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Wash affected skin areas with soap and water. See a physician if irritation persists.
  • INGESTION: If swallowed give two glasses of water to drink. See a physician.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Keep spectators away.  Floor may be slippery, use care to avoid falling.  Scoop or shovel solid material into a suitable container for recovery or disposal.  Keep spills out of municipal sewers and open bodies of water.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHODS:

Disposal should be in accordance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
